Terms of Service

This is an initial policy for PaddleRank's early operation. It will be revised as the service grows; it is not a substitute for legal advice.

1. What PaddleRank is

PaddleRank is a pickleball league management application: match recording, ELO-based ratings, leaderboards and related analytics, and Social Events with RSVP, for the leagues that use it. It is provided as-is during this early stage of operation.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of match results you submit, for keeping your password confidential, and for the activity that happens under your account. Tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit match results you know to be false
  • Attempt to access accounts, leagues, or data that are not yours
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service, or attempt to bypass its security controls
  • Use the service for anything unlawful or that harms other users

4. League administrators

League managers and administrators can see match history, ratings, membership information, and Social Event attendance within the leagues they manage. This access exists to run the league and should not be used for any other purpose.

5. Account suspension and archival

An administrator may suspend or archive an account that violates these terms or for other operational reasons. Suspension blocks login while preserving your match and rating history; it can be reversed. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is retained.

6. No warranty; limitation of liability

PaddleRank is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, during this early stage of operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PaddleRank is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Ratings and analytics are informational and not guaranteed to be error-free.

7. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the service evolves. Material changes will update the effective date above. Continued use of PaddleRank after a change means you accept the revised terms.
